Active committees are responsible for much of the day-to-day work of the Foundation. Members of the Board serve on the three governing committees -- executive, finance and board development. Members of three working committees – grant development, marketing and fundraising – are board members and community volunteers.

Executive Committee -- establishes and ensures a strategic direction for the Foundation while managing the ordinary course of business, including employment of personnel and oversight of day-to-day affairs. 

Board Development Committee -- facilitates recruitment of persons to serve as directors and leads officer elections by preparing a slate of officers to be presented to the Board of Directors at the annual meeting.

Finance Committee -- oversees management of Foundation finances, including preparation of annual budget for presentation to the Board of Directors.

Grant Development Committee -- aligns the vision of the Katy ISD Education Foundation with the instructional practices of Katy ISD by facilitating the Inspiring Imagination grant process and selecting creative and innovative classroom projects for funding.

Fundraising Committee -- leads Foundation fundraising efforts, including setting the annual fundraising goal, identifying varied funding sources and supporting existing donor relationships.

Marketing Committee -- leads, plans and implements marketing strategies, activities and events designed to unite our community in support of the Foundation.
