Board Development  

Facilitates board member recruitment and leads officer elections by preparing an officer slate to be presented annually to the Board of Directors. 

 

Executive  

Manages the ordinary course of business of the foundation, including the employment of personnel and oversight of day-to-day affairs.    

  

Finance  

Oversees management of foundation finances, including preparation of annual budget for presentation to the Board of Directors.  

 

Development  

Oversees all board and committee fundraising activities, establishing annual board and committee fundraising goals, identifies varied funding sources and supports existing donor relationships. 

 

Community Engagement Committees 

Open to all board members and community volunteers  

  

Investor Care and Recruitment 

Recruits and supports our family of Investors. 

 

Events 

Leads foundation fundraising efforts for assigned events, including setting the annual fundraising goal, identifying varied funding sources, and supporting existing donor relationships.

• Foundation 40 – Our Foundation prides itself in hosting standout events all designed to unite and inspire our community as we support Katy ISD teachers. Our events are supported by a fabulous crew of dynamic volunteer leaders who infuse each happening with results-driven vision and energy by gifting their time, resources and expertise.

 

Grant Oversight  

Aligns the vision of the Katy ISD Education Foundation with the instructional practices of Katy ISD. Facilitates the Inspiring Imagination grant application process and the selection of innovative classroom projects for funding.
